Information in your book

StoryPatch can store the content you choose to add, including page titles and dates, journal text and voice transcripts, photos and captions, tags, stickers and imported sticker images, drawings, page designs, Memory Pocket items, and app preferences. This content is stored locally on your device.

No account, advertising, or tracking

StoryPatch does not require registration or a sign-in. The app does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking, and it does not sell personal information.

Device permissions

• Photos and Camera: used only when you choose to add or capture an image.
• Microphone and Speech Recognition: used only when you start voice-to-text. Apple speech services may process dictated audio to provide the transcript.
• Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode: used by Apple’s Local Authentication system only if you enable Privacy Lock. StoryPatch does not receive or store your biometric data.

You can change these permissions at any time in iPhone or iPad Settings.

Sharing, exports, and backups

StoryPatch creates a page image, social image, PDF, iPad spread, or editable .storypatch backup only when you request it. You choose where that file goes through Apple’s share and file interfaces. Once you share or save a file outside StoryPatch, it is protected by the destination you selected rather than by StoryPatch.

Storage and protection

StoryPatch uses iOS file protection for its local book and media. An app-switcher privacy shield hides scrapbook content when the app is not active. Optional Privacy Lock can require your device authentication when you return.

Deleting your information

You can remove individual pages, photos, stickers, drawings, and other content in the app. You can also clear a book or delete StoryPatch to remove its local data from that device. An exported backup remains wherever you saved or shared it until you delete it there.

Children’s privacy

StoryPatch does not knowingly collect personal information from children because the app does not operate an account, analytics, advertising, or developer-hosted content service. A parent or guardian should supervise what a child chooses to place in or share from a scrapbook.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when StoryPatch changes. The effective date at the top will show the latest revision.
